Summary

Polish-British Science Forum brings together experts from both countries to discuss how to address some of the shared global challenges.

Description

The Polish – British Science Forum is a joint initiative of the British Embassy Warsaw, UK Science and Innovation Network, UK Department for Science, Innovation and Technology, UK Space Agency, Space Park Leicester, University of Leicester School of Business, and the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

The 5th edition of the Polish-British Science Forum will take place on 11 December in Leicester. It will provide a platform for key stakeholders from Poland and the UK – government officials, researchers, innovators, business, industry, and universities – to exchange ideas, views, experiences, and best practices in the field of space.

The event will bring together participants to discuss issues such as Polish and UK space policies, key challenges and possible solutions in research and space exploration, current Polish and UK space science, tech and exploration capabilities and priorities, and possible joint collaboration concerning space exploration, science, and tech. We are also planning a trade exhibition with leading UK and Polish space companies.

Additionally, The School of Business, University of Leicester will host satellite events a day before, on 10th December. These will include a panel discussion titled “Beyond Earth – Navigating the Business Landscape of Space” and a networking reception.
